How to Replacing Tires? Find 5 Simply Steps

balance-car-tires

Tire treads are functioned as means to divert water beneath the tire in order to improve the grip and evade wet roads’ hydroplaning. So, the tires become unsafe when they are worn. How do we know when your tires need to be replaced? Here is how.

1. Look at the tread pattern. Look at the tread pattern and you’ll see the beginnings of these bars start to form between the treads, or running across the tires. When the tires wear, small bridges that form between tire treads these bars will flush either level or flattened with the tire’s tread.

2. Check the tread by using a penny. Place it upside down with Lincoln facing you at the tire’s thickest part. When you can see Lincoln’s head top you need to replace the tires right away. It also applies when Lincoln’s hair on the top of his head is partially visible.

3. Use a tread depth indicator or gauge to measure your tires’ tread. You can purchase from an auto parts dealer.

4. Alternatively, it might be easier to pop in to your regular tire place and ask them to check it for you; likely they’ll do this for free if you’re regular customer.

5. Replacement should be done at least every 6 years. You need to check the owner’s manual for specific tire recommendations related to your car.

car tires

Replacing tires may happen at anytime since tire treads wear down over time. It has to be done immediately since tire deals with your safety on the road. Buying new tires may need a huge expense and most vehicle owners delay for such a long time to get brand new ones. It is not a secure thing to do; however, it can make a big difference between life and death.

Wear down tire treads cause the vehicle to shake. It also can cause severe damage to the wheels, the chassis, and the balance of the car. This is one of a good reason for you to replace tires.  Another good reason to find new tires is when your mechanic says it is time to change your tire then get new ones. You need also to make sure you check the tires reports before decided to purchase ones. The purchase can be done at the dealership or any car maintenance shop in your town.

To save your expenses, it is best to find tire sales which usually happen at the end of the year. Many car shops and dealerships are willing to lower the tires’ price in order to clean up their. However, this can only be done when you are sure it will not cause you any risk.

Mazda RX-8 Line Complete Review

Mazda RX-8

The Mazda RX-8 line has a great chassis and very much balanced, lightweight, and has choices of sporty engines. With V6 or V8 engine, you car may look like a sports car. It also offers smooth and comfortable drive control, with top power and distinctive and powerful sound like the jet, it will boost your confidence for being bend the wheel.

The car is a couple-like car, with 4 seats arrangements and three choices for trim levels: Sport, Grand Touring, and R3. The Sport one has 18-inch wheels, spoiler for rear lip, cruise control, radio with speakers, and leather steering wheels. The Grand Touring has all the facilities installed in the Sport one, only with additional xenon headlights and fog lights, heated mirrors, sun-roof access, automatic climate control, Bluetooth, and automatic wipers for detecting the rain. The R3 one has the overall equipments, plus 19-inch wheels, rear spoiler wing, new front bumper, sport seats, and navigation system completed with touchscreen and voice activation system. All the interior side is roomy for both passengers and cargo.

Mazda prepares some safety standard features such as airbags for front side and front curtain side, antilock brakes, and standard seatbelts for the driver and passengers.

Safety:

The 2010 Mazda RX-8 comes standard with antilock brakes, front side airbags and front side curtain airbags. Stability control isn’t offered on the Sport trim but is standard on the Grand Touring and R3. In government crash testing, the RX-8 earned a four-star rating (out of a possible five) for driver protection in frontal impacts and five stars for the front passenger. In side-impact testing, the RX-8 received four stars.

Driving Impressions:

Although the 2010 Mazda RX-8 has the look of a race-tuned sports car, its demeanor on the road is considerably more docile. There’s plenty of grip in the corners and solid feedback through the steering wheel, but its compliant ride means that the RX-8 won’t beat you up on the daily commute. The rotary engine requires high engine speeds to make serious power, but the delivery is virtually vibration-free and noise levels are subdued. If you like a smooth engine (in feel, sound and power delivery), there’s none smoother. Overall, the RX-8 is one of the best examples of a car that’s both fun to drive and very livable on a day-to-day basis — just be prepared to pay at the pump.
