Japanese pop/rock artist Mika Nakashima has finally announced her next single, “Ichiban Kireina Watashi wo.” The song is described on her website as being a timeless masterpiece of a love song with piano accompaniment. The single will be released on August 25th, almost seven months since her last single “ALWAYS.”
The single will written and produced by Sugiyama Katsuhiko, an up and coming songwriter in Japan. He is sure to deliver some delicate piano melodies in the song for all Nakashiima fans to enjoy. The b-side on the release will be a REGGAE DISCO ROCKERS remixed version of “Ichiban Kireina Watashi wo.” It will be released in a CD + DVD and CD only version, with the DVD version having the music video for the title track included.
“Ichiban Kireina Watashi wo” will also be featured as the theme song for the new television drama “Unubore Keiji,” which is a new comedy about a detective who always falls in love with the female suspect. Mika Nakashima will also have a recurring role in the drama. She won’t be the only music star in the show, as it stars Tomoya Nagase (from TOKIO) in the lead detective role.
